Welcoming a little bit of France.

As we prepared opening the store, we wanted to make sure we were thoughtful of designs and brands that complimented our values. In our little journey searching, we found Waekura along the way. Starting off with a couple of their beautiful velvet jewelry boxes, we now have included a variety of their stunning jewelry collection.

Why Waekura? Aside from how beautiful their jewelry is, their story is similar to ours. In 2017, Melissa and some friends wanted to create a collection of items that they couldn’t find at that moment: trendy, quality and affordable. Building their business in their homes, much like us and all creators we have met along the way, their focus never changed to provide premium at an affordable price. Each piece of jewelry is carefully handcrafted from recycled brass, then hand dipped in 3 micron gold plating making each piece waterproof, tarnish free and hypoallergenic. Did we mention it is all made in France?

At our store, Vienna at Marda Loop, we are so pleased to say we are the first store to have Waekura in Canada. In the last 6 months, we have built a unique relationship with the team and couldn’t be more pleased with our continued collaboration. As time goes forward, so will the growth of our collection of Waekura.
